Andy has a phonics book that he read for the first time Monday. When he realized that he needed little help reading this story he beamed. Now instead of the usual mom reading a bedtime story Andy gets to read to mom first. The best part is hearing him try to make the story come alive by emphasizing when there are exclamation points. I need to get more of these books because I think I may become comatose if I hear "I see" sentences every night. Wednesday, April 16, 2008
"I'll read then you can read, ok Mama?"
