Christmas In Maine...part III
Amalia and Andy for the most part play well together, considering they are both only children who are fairly used to getting there own way and doing what they want to do. Not so much...after a full day of non-stop in your face contact they started to really get on each others nerves. Then came in Arianna, who is also an only child but is completely happy to flit about making cute songlike sounds and play with the dog. Andy wanted to play with Amalia, Amalia wanted to play (control) Arianna and Arianna wanted to play with the dog.
Christmas
This Christmas of 2008 was going to be a three part er. At my home was phase two. So we did see some duplicated gifts, a skateboard... but mostly Andy was very excited to get presents that he was skeptical came from Santa...he loved them anyways. Just this winter we found out we could go ice skating, it's inexpensive and it takes lots of energy to skate, except that the rental skates cut into Andy's ankle. So his big gift from me, was new skates, they are adjustable. We tried them out after we got home from Maine and Andy didn't want to get off the ice!! He loves it!
My mom came over to give Andy his gifts, he loved everything he got, especially the Building block marble maze and his very own shiny harmonica. He tries to make tunes with it. It's not as bad as I initially thought it would be.

By the Tree
Andy and I put the lights and decorations up on the tree, then Erica and Andy put lights around the window...a nice new touch. This was a fun set up, except every morning we would come out to find the tree skirt in a heap in the corner because Smokey was constantly attacking it and trying to live under it. Fool!! These pics were taken weeks before Andy lost his front two teeth. I await a good photo opp to display the new smile.
